  1. Installing PowerData
  2. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  3. There  are  two  ways  of  installing  PowerData.  Either you can choose to
  4. install  PowerData  "the old-fashioned way", with the IconX script provided
  5. here, or you can use the "Installer" script in the Workbench2.1+ directory.

  7. Note  that  since the Installer is an official Commodore product, it is not
  8. provided in this distribution.  Doing so would conflict with the copyrights
  9. imposed by Commodore.

  11. If  you  have Workbench 2.1, 3.0 or higher, you will find Installer on your
  12. Workbench  installation  disk.   Simply  copy  it  to the C:  directory, or
  13. anywhere in your Shell command path.

  15. If  you  choose to perform a manual installation, you must copy libs/#?  to
  16. your  LIBS:   directory,  copy the desired version of the PowerData program
  17. (and  its  icon)  to  your  favourite  directory for commodities (typically
  18. SYS:tools/commodities), and finally copy whatever catalog files you want to
  19. install, to LOCALE:
